It binds the parties to concrete pledges on the disclosure of information and is enforceable under the laws of the state where they are created. Confidentiality statements enable them to talk more openly about their businesses while discussing potential joint ventures.

Phillips Legal Support, LLC acknowledges that it will be necessary for you to disclose confidential and proprietary information to us to perform duties for your firm or business. We recognize that disclosure to a third party or misuse of this proprietary or confidential information could irreparably harm your firm. Accordingly, we will not disclose or use, either during or after the term of our work agreement, any proprietary or confidential information of your business without your prior written permission except to the extent necessary to perform services on your behalf.
